On any colorway, choose Personalization → Add name (+$5), then type the name in the box that appears. We hand-string white letter beads with black letters right into the collar. Up to 10 letters or numbers.

The name is centered at the front of the collar so it shows when your pup is facing you. If you’d like it somewhere else, add a note at checkout and we’ll do our best.

Yes! If you don’t see your dream combo, message us with the colors you’re picturing and we’ll make a custom Gemmie for you.

Measure snugly around the widest part of the neck and use our size guide. Between sizes, size up. Need something outside XS–XXL? We make custom lengths from 5" to 35".

Food-grade, BPA-free silicone beads (the same kind used for teething toys) on a strong stretch cord, with a gold-tone accent bead. They’re soft, durable, waterproof and odor-resistant.

Gemmies have no buckle or clasp. They slip on over the head and stretch free if they ever catch on something, which is why Nugz prefers them. That same stretch means they’re a fashion accessory, not a restraint: please don’t attach a leash or ID tags, and supervise your pup while wearing. Not a chew toy.

Wipe with a damp cloth or wash with mild soap and warm water, then air dry. No need to take it off for pool or beach days.

Our smallest sizes fit many cats, but because cats are expert escape artists and climbers, we recommend supervised, indoor, photo-day wear only.

Every Gemmie is made to order by hand in Texas. Most orders ship within 3–5 business days; personalized collars can take a day or two longer during busy seasons. You’ll get a tracking email the moment it’s on its way.

US shipping is free on orders over $80. Below that, rates are calculated at checkout. We currently ship within the United States; message us for international requests.

Because we start stringing quickly, please contact us within 12 hours of ordering with any changes. Once a personalized collar is strung we can’t cancel it.

Unworn, non-personalized Gemmies can be exchanged or returned within 14 days of delivery. Personalized collars are final sale unless we made a mistake. Full details are in our refund policy.

It happens! Reach out within 14 days and we’ll swap an unworn, non-personalized collar for the right size. For personalized collars we can usually re-string to a new length for a small fee.

We stand behind our work. If a cord or bead fails within 60 days of normal wear, send us a photo and we’ll repair or replace it.
